The Austin Professional Landmen’s Association is excited to announce the 6th Annual APLA Austin Oilman’s Sporting Clay Shoot. The tournament will be held Friday, October 27th at Capitol City Trap & Skeet Club for the benefit of Anthropos Arts.

This year we will be reaching out to a new charity: Anthropos Arts. Founded in 1998, Anthropos Arts provides high-quality music education for low-income and at-risk students. Anthropos Arts brings top professional musicians from diverse music genres to give free music lessons, workshops, and performance opportunities to students in middle and high schools that have high rates of poverty. The benefits of Anthropos Arts programs are profound, affecting many aspects of students’ lives: overall academic success, self-discipline, self-esteem, and a pathway to college.

This tournament alone has raised a cumulative $72,500 for charity since it’s inception and averages nearly $15,000 per year in donations to worthy non-profits. We hope to reach and surpass the $15,000 mark this year. We look forward to another successful Shoot in 2017.
